The MREAP team from Strathclyde (Peter, Magnus and Damien) are in country from November 18th to December 4th working with the MREAP partners. The main purpose of the trip is to conduct the Programme Steering Group meeting in Lilongwe where the progress of MREAP will be reported and ongoing strategy discussed. In addition to this event, there will be lots of activity around the different programme streams. We are aiming to collect lots of media content that will capture the diverse range of activities and people within MREAP. This will include interviews with the staff and Post-grad students involved in the research and capacity building programme, capturing the stories of the beneficiaries of MuREA’s micro-hydro mini-grid, accompanying the Mzuzu Uni team as they complete their biogas installations, and interviews with the Community Energy Development Officers.
